Welcome Everyone. Thank you for joining me on a fabulous journey..This is my long time dream come true. To be able to share the things that I love. But first..... a little history so you know how it all came into being.
A long time ago, as a young girl, someone started me on the road to collecting miniatures. As an adult the fascination never left me. Fish tanks ,then I found mini homes at second hand stores. Avon came out with a few. And I collected them all.
Then a couple of years ago my neighbor was giving me a tour of her yard and at the bottom of a huge tree was a 'fairy door'. This is a BIG thing in Victoria. I was so excited about the concept of gnomes and fairies that I started my own Fairy Garden. Rocks, and figurines, decorative plants and succulents,, and the fairy gardens came alive in my own yard. You will be seeing that as well.
One day I saw layered sand in a store. THAT did it! I now make all the terrariums you see, shop for vases at discount stores, and for anything that creates a theme and tells a story, All in miniature. Each one is different from the tea cups to ornate vases. I am learning polymer clay sculpting as well-- one of my favorite pastimes.
